**Position Available: Community Wellbeing Centre Support Worker**

We are looking for a Community Wellbeing Centre Support Worker with a knack for creativity and an innovative way of thinking to help us organise, run events and activities. From baking and decorating a cake, to gardening, arts, crafts and more - everyday will be different supporting our clients to try new things and ensure they feel connected with their peers and the local community.

The hours of work will be part time from 9.00am - 4.00pm, Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays totalling to 21 hours. However, if you require full-time work, we have additional hours available in the community on our ABICS (Acquired Brain Injury & Support) team.

**Roles Available**:
It’ll be your job to support our clients throughout their day, engaging them and running activities at Headway Shropshire’s Community Wellbeing Centre.

This role can also involve visiting our clients in the community for up to 6-12-hour visits which is a hugely rewarding opportunity to provide support and guidance helping individuals with day-to-day living.

Our Community Wellbeing Support Workers help enable individuals to live within their own communities and to empower them to live as independently as possible by assisting them to: go shopping, prepare meals, attend appointments, take part in their hobbies, and keep themselves and their homes clean

Through our compassionate and specialised care, we enhance the quality of life for those affected by brain injury and their families.
