As a **Secondary Classroom Cover Supervisor** you will:

- Supervisor classes across the curriculum in the event of a teacher absence.
- Verify that students are working on pre-planned assignments.
- Control student behaviour to provide a secure and encouraging learning environment.
- Consult with other staff members about the assignments being given and make sure you have the necessary resources.
- Provide feedback to the class teacher on pupil attendance, engagement and completion of work tasks.
- Deliver planned tasks in compliance with school policy.
- Respond to any questions from pupils.
- Must have right to work in the UK
- Must meet GSL’s safer recruitment background checks
- Must be committed to safeguarding
- Must be adaptable, enthusiastic and enjoy working with young people of all backgrounds
