Workshop Fitter

We have a fantastic opportunity to join us as a Workshop Fitter based in Yate. Working as part of a team, you’ll produce the products with speed and quality to ensure we can meet our customers’ expectations.

**What will you be doing as our Workshop Fitter?**
- Attending briefings to understand the production schedule for the day.
- Assembling products quickly and efficiently aligned with the daily schedule.
- Using our digital workflow system to record parts used and products assembled.
- Working with the Stores team to ensure parts are accurate.
- Routinely building tanks and accessories to rigorous specifications.
- Fitting and assembling metal parts, tools, or sub-assemblies.
- Installing hoses and fittings to tanks.
- Using a variety of handheld and fixed tools.
- Ensuring all work areas are kept safe and tidy.
- Identifying and sharing ideas for improving processes in the assembly area.
- Operating in a way that puts the safety of yourself and others as the highest priority.
- Working as a team to get the job done.

**What will give you the edge**:

- Able to communicate effectively.
- Able to follow both written and verbal instructions.
- Able to work confidently in a workshop environment.
- Strong hand-eye coordination.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Confident with technology.

**Not required, but nice to have**:

- Experience of welding parts.
- Electrical knowledge, understanding and experience.
- Plumbing knowledge, understanding and experience.
