Repointing Operative

Responsibilities:

- To rake out old mortar beds and joints using power tools and dust extraction system.
- Wash out mortar joints.
- To erect low level platforms.
- To mix mortar correctly and being able to make sure mortar is correct colour.
- Repoint mortar using a pointing gun or pointing trowel.
- To keep the site clean and safe.

**Job Type**: Temporary contract
Contract length: 2 months

**Salary**: From £12.50 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week

- Eastbourne, East Sussex: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Construction: 1 year (preferred)
- Construction industry: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
