**School Administrator Required for a Primary School in Dorking, Surrey**

At Tempest Education, we’ve specialised in recruiting education staff for many years We’re currently looking for an enthusiastic School Administrator to work full-time, on a 6 month temporary basis, for an outstanding primary school based in Merton.

Our team has built an excellent reputation in the local area, and we’re looking for more high-quality office staff to work with these schools

**The main duties and responsbilities for the School Administrator**:

- To play a supportive role in the effective management of school administrative systems
- Carry out administrative duties in relation to admissions and transitions
- Managing and updating the school’s staff and pupil data bases
- Maintaining and managing the school diary
- Manage arrangements for school trips
- Communicating effectively with students, staff and parents in a professional and friendly manner
- Covering reception duties

**The ideal School Administratror based in Dorking, Surrey will have the following experience and skills**:

- Experience of working within a school and / or team environment
- Experience assisting with Admissions & Attendance
- Parentmail experience
- Parentpay experience
- Experience utilising SIMS (School Information Management System) within an administrative role.
- Strong organisational and planning skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Proven ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing
- Proven ability to work on your own initiative
- Proven ability to use a range of IT packages
- Proven ability to analyse, use and present data
- Able to relate well with pupils, teachers and parents
- Able to relate well with pupils, teachers and parents
- Able to prioritise work
- Sensitivity and understanding
