This Advanced Practice car is based at Ipswich

As a qualified Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) you will provide patients with exceptional care through expert clinical practice whilst also fulfilling the remaining pillars of advanced practice. With a background of nursing, paramedicine or other relevant allied health profession, the post holder will have completed training to practice as an autonomous ACP and be able to work comfortably in the out of hospital environment at the higher margins of their professional capability.

You’ll work in clinical operations and emergency operations centres, while also providing sector-based clinical triage and senior clinical leadership to ambulance clinicians of all grades.

Upon joining our team, you will function across the four domains of advanced practice of expert clinical practice, leadership and service improvement, education, and research. You’ll have completed a relevant masters award and will be a qualified independent and supplementary prescriber.

ACPs will provide clinical leadership, development, mentorship and support to our cohort of trainee advanced practitioners. They will work across the four pillars of advanced practice and must be able to evidence that they meet the Health Education England / National Health Service England (HEE/NHSE) requirements of this role. They will have a key role in shaping the future direction of the advancing practice project across the organisation.
