Job Title: Activities Director

Overview:
**Responsibilities**:

- Plan, organise, and oversee a diverse range of activities and events tailored to the needs and interests of residents
- Develop and implement activity programmes that promote physical, mental, and emotional well-being
- Coordinate outings, social gatherings, and entertainment within the care home
- Collaborate with care staff to ensure activities are inclusive and accessible to all residents
- Maintain accurate records of activities, attendance, and resident participation
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of activities to enhance resident satisfaction
- Provide support and guidance to activity assistants

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a similar role within a care home or assisted living environment
- Knowledge of dementia care practices and understanding of senior care needs
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage with residents, families, and staff members
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Passion for enhancing the quality of life for elderly residents through meaningful activities
- Relevant qualifications in activities coordination or related field

Pay: £11.55-£12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 24 - 30 per week
