Hgv Mechanic

We are looking for a Experienced HGV mechanic to join the team.

Beaty Fleet Services is a family owned company and sister company to John Beaty Transport and combines the experience and services offered from John Beaty Transports workshop and MOT centre and Emerson Commercial Services Ltd.

The Role
- Carry out HGV maintenance, servicing, MOT preparation and cost effect repairs on a wide range of vehicle makes and trailers to DVSA standards
- Carry out fault diagnostic, troubleshooting and rectification using the manufacturers computer systems and other diagnostic systems
- Maintain workshop safety and housekeeping.
- Complete all paperwork correctly i.e service inspection sheets, job cards, defect sheets.

Typical working hours Monday to Friday 7:30 to 17:30 and every other Saturday 07:30 to 15:00 (paid at time and a half)

Requirements for this role
- At least 5 years mechanical experience working within a similar role.
- Level 3 / City & Guilds or NVQ qualified technician or equivalent industrial experience.
- HGV (CE) licence (preferred)
- Take pride in your work and an eye for detail
- Work well with others.
