Hours: 07:00 - 15:40 Mon to Thurs, 07:00 - 12:00 Friday

**Responsibilities;**

The role of Inspector will span all disciplines provided by KAEFER on the SIS Framework, facilitating fast and efficient operations through the maintenance of key plant and equipment. Inspections will be carried out in a pre-planned and methodical manner (planned by yourself) in line with compliancy/KAEFER policy dictated demands, but will also be supplemented by ad-hoc and reactive inspections as and when the contract requires.

Areas of inspection will include the following and may be supplemented going forward:

- PUWER Assessments
- PAT Testing
- LOLER Checks
- IRATA Checks

In addition to physical reviews/checks, it will be your responsibility to create and maintain the relevant documentation both physically and electronically. As a large framework with circa. 300 operatives, KAEFER have a large and continually expanding inventory of plant and equipment spanning these inspection areas, and therefore this is a continually moving and fast paced role. Subsequently, this role is 100% site based.

**The Person;**
- Existing qualifications in some of all the inspections detailed preferable, or a commitment to undertake the relevant courses.
- P4 and SC Clearance preferable. If not currently held, ability to achieve security clearance is required.
- Knowledge of KAEFER disciplines, and associated plant / equipment relating to these.
- Flexible with the ability to redirect efforts on a reactive basis.
- Confident and ability to communicate effectively with wider KAEFER workforce.
- Self-motivation and ability to plan own work to ensure requirements are met.
- Excellent record / document maintenance.
- Computer literate, including Microsoft office suite, but open and able to trial and utilise new software to benefit the role.
- Ability to read and review both KAEFER and industry policies to have an awareness of requirements and inspection frequencies.
- Ability to work successfully under pressure.
- Honesty and integrity to carry out checks with due diligence and to exacting standards.
