Here at The Heights of Abraham, we're looking for a friendly, engaging and sales motivated person to join our Retail team: working 5 days a week, throughout the our open season, until November.

This role is split between our two main retail outlets. In the Gift shop, you'll be selling a wide range of gifts and souvenirs. In the Rock Shop, you'll sell a fascinating range of gemstones, crystals, fossils as well as prestigious Derbyshire Blue John jewellery.

Working under the guidance of our Retail Supervisors, you’ll be responsible for serving visitors in a professional, helpful manner. You'll be proactive in driving sales of our CW Sellors' Blue John jewellery range and Heights of Abraham Annual Passes. You'll also help keep both shops well-stocked and immaculately clean.

Have you got what it takes to hit The Heights?

You'll have proven experience in one-to-one sales, ideally in a gift or jewellery field. Accurate till operation and cash handling will be second nature to you. Precision in stock control is also key. You’ll have a good eye for presentation, merchandising opportunities, and help maintain great displays. You’ll learn about The Heights and be able to cross-promote our other shops and departments. Previous retail and sales experience is essential. You'll be trustworthy, reliable and happy working on your own and within a team.

Contract Dates: This is a seasonal position, with contract dates running between February and November 2023.

Pay: Up to £11 per hour.
- Sun, Mon, Tues in The Gift Shop.
- Wed & Fri in The Rock Shop.
- Thursdays and Saturdays will be days off.

Core hours are 10am to 4.30pm (slightly later when we go into peak season).

Uniform is provided.
