Dental Therapist

We are looking for a Dental Therapist to join our friendly, experienced and supportive practice team in Exeter.

**About the role**:

- Role will be predominantly therapy but hygienist appointments will also be offered to our patients
- Initially part time - Monday 8am - 6pm
- Preventative dental health and the treatment of gum disease
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and preventive dental care.
- Undertaking routine dental fixes of baby and permanent teeth.
- Promote and maintain excellent patient relations through effective communication.
- Highest standards of professional cleaning and patient and clinical care
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of procedures performed.
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure optimal patient care and treatment outcomes.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organised work environment.
- Full nurse support provided for all sessions being worked.

- Well-established 4 surgery Dental Practice
- Fully computerised with Aerona and Digital x-ray / CBCT Scanner
- Friendly and supportive team in the practice.
- Parking available on-site, with easily accessible public transportation routes
- Located near Exeter Airport, with good access to the M5 / A30.

**About You**:

- Proven experience working in a dental therapy capacity.
- Registered with the General Dental Council (GDC) as a Dental Therapist.
- Completion of a diploma or degree program in dental therapy
- Must hold valid suitable and appropriate indemnity insurance with a recognised dental defence organisation.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 8 per week
