Mindful Memorials is a leading designer, manufacturer and installer of memorials across the Yorkshire region. Operating from its artisan workshop near Melbourn you'll work as part of a small cohesive team who are responsible installing and placing bespoke memorial and headstones across the Yorkshire region.

**Lead Memorial fitter / Ground Worker
- Monday to Friday - 40 hours per week**

In this important role you'll be responsible for working as part of a team to collect and safely load headstones and other memorials, and then travel around the local and wider Yorkshire area installing the memorials in Church Yards and Cemeteries.

**About the role**:

- Safe loading of headstones and other memorials at the start of the day
- Securing loads and checking paperwork prior to setting off
- Driving to various locations across Yorkshire (mainly East, North and South)
- Identifying the correct fixing location and preparing the site to install the memorial
- Preparing cement and other fixing materials to site the headstone
- Safely moving the headstone in to place
- Cleaning the work area, removing any debris
- Cleaning the memorial/head stone prior to leaving site
- Checking memorials for safety and correctness once placed and ensuring they are not damaged

**About you**:
We are ideally looking for an experienced ground worker / labourer who is looking for a role where they can work as part of a small team, in a professional organisation, with the ability to act in a professional manner when on site, with members of the general public.
- Driving flat bed vehicles (electronic driver card an advantage)
- Preparing ground works
- Preparing cement and other fixing materials
- Pointing up
- High levels of attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Working safely
