QA Tester

**The Role**
An amazing client of mine in the Heart of York are looking for a passionate and friendly QA Tester (**Manual testing/AGILE**) to join their amazing team culture and help expand their already successful team of testers

As a QA Tester (**Manual testing/AGILE**), you will be working closely with developers and other testers in the team in an AGILE environment. The role will mainly involve manual testing, with scope to upskill constantly into automation and other area, they believe in developing their team in areas they want the most They are looking for someone with the right attitude and who will fit right in with their team

You will be a self-starter

Role Requirements:

- Experience working in an Agile environment
- Experience using workflow management software such as TFS, JIRA, Azure DevOps
- Experience writing test scripts in BDD
- Experience of creating and managing your own test plans and strategies
- Experience in using API test tools such as Postman
- Experience of functional, integration and regression testing
- Experience querying SQL databases
- Solid understanding of the full Software Development Lifecycle
- Ability to manage your own workload and deadlines
- Ability to look beyond the UI for Bugs and potential issues
- Strong verbal and communication skills
