Applicants should have research expertise in the cybersecurity area, including related areas such as privacy. Applications from those with expertise in software security, operating systems security, mobile device security, cryptography, and operational technology and industrial control systems security are particularly encouraged. Applicants should have the ambition to work across disciplines and with industry to achieve their research vision. Successful applicants are expected to strengthen the department’s research expertise.

Salary will be at the appropriate point on Grade 7, £44,414 - £52,841 with placement according to qualifications and experience.
