**Head of Finance**

We are looking for an experienced Head of Finance, who is a wizard with Dynamics Business Central, to join the Impactt team based in Holborn, London.

**Who will this suit?**

If you are a hands-on sort who operates well in a small team (you will have two direct reports - possibly three at some stage) and enjoy “steadying the ship” as much as strategising and planning for the future, then this could be the role for you.

If you feel like the time is right to work for a cause and make a real difference in the world, and are passionate about human rights and fairer trading practices, then Impactt could be the place for you.

**What do you need to bring to the party?**

The new Head of Finance will be degree educated and hold a recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) and be conversant with Dynamics Business Central.

Good communication skills are essential as you will also be supporting and educating people who work in other areas of the business, with little commercial or financial literacy, and not holed up in a back office with your abacus, working in a vacuum.

If you have some experience of international work, particularly working with developing world countries, this would be an advantage but is not essential.

**The key accountabilities of the Head of Finance**:

- Accountable for the financial strategic planning of the company by evaluating performance and potential risks.
- Take ultimate responsibility for the company cash management policies regarding corporate finance, capital requirements, debt, taxation, equity, disposals and acquisitions, as appropriate.
- Develop and maintain all necessary systems, policies and procedures to ensure effective and efficient financial management within the company.
- Ensure that company financial systems are robust, compliant and support current activities and future growth.
- Ensure that the regulatory requirements of all statutory bodies are met, guaranteeing compliance with financial and legal obligations including international office.
- Oversee the preparation of the company’s financial accounts to ensure that these are presented accurately and on time.
