Huddersfield based Accountancy practice are currently seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join the team predominantly dealing with OMB's across all sectors in a varied and facing role on a full time permanent basis.

The Payroll Administrator will be working on Sage payroll dealing with the monthly payroll calculations, CIS Submissions, whilst assisting a designated portfolio of clients on any queries they may have

The ideal Payroll Officer will have previous experience in a similar role and will be able to communicate in a n effective and confident manner.

Payroll Officer Position Overview

Handling a portfolio of clients your main responsibilities will be:
Preparing weekly, fortnightly and monthly payrolls for a diverse set of clients whilst also taking on pension auto enrolment responsibilities

Reviewing the payrolls before issuing to clients

CIS submissions & CIS suffered

Developing new and maintaining other client relationships

Payroll Officer Position Requirements

Experience on Sage payroll would be advantageous

Experience within a similar role is essential

A team player who can also work autonomously

Payroll Officer Position Remuneration

£25,000 - £28,000 per annum

37.5 hour working week

Parking onsite

Annual target-based bonus

Pension contribution scheme

22 days holiday plus bank holidays
