**About The Role**

The Devil’s Kitchen is a vegan and free-from food manufacturing business specialising in burgers, balls, and sausages. We create foods for thousands of schools, universities, hospitals, visitor attractions and for national retail.

The company is part of the Green Britain Group alongside Ecotricity, The Sky Mining Company and Forest Green Rovers Football Club.

Reporting to the Production Team Leader you will be working directly on a production line or within a production area, involved in the preparation, processing, packing or dispatch of our frozen food products.

Previous food production experience would be preferable but not essential.

You may be required to carry out any, or all the following:

- Physical lifting and movement of ingredients finished products or equipment.
- Weighing ingredients or packing frozen product into outer cases
- Follow strict policy to ensure food quality and safety standards and health and safety standards
- Operation of production equipment
- Cleaning production equipment and surrounding areas
- Recording control measurements and maintaining written production records
- Working in a chilled or frozen environment

**Working hours are Monday to Thursday 8:00am - 4:30pm and Fridays 8:00am to 3:30pm**

**About You**
- Resourceful and adaptable
- Willing to change tasks as production requires
- Able to carry out the physical tasks that would reasonably be required
- Full training will be given where applicable
- Prior experience, or transferrable skills in operating burger/sausage forming equipment would be an advantage

Devil’s Kitchen is a specialist manufacturer of plant-based burgers, balls and sausages. The business grew out of Forest Green Rovers, the world’s greenest Football Club. It launched in 2019, making burgers for fans on matchdays, and has now sold over 4 million portions of delicious plant-based food.

Our foods are made in a purpose-built factory in the Cotswolds, which has achieved AA Grade at its first BRC quality and safety audit. It is powered only by wind and sun energy, and our foods are produced on a world class production line.

All of the foods we make are free from, or below the legal declarable level, of the 14 major allergens, and are registered with the Vegan Society and Coeliac UK.

**Salary**: £22,291.00-£24,500.00 per year
