Leading a team of 40+ colleagues across two pressured acute hospitals, the Head of Health Intelligence is a vital role across University Hospitals of Northamptonshire (UHN) as this role will lead the reporting, analytics, insights and data quality services which is so important for not only the day-to-day running of the hospitals, but also strategic planning. UHN are in the midst of a major transformation programme as they implement a new cloud-based data warehouse and powerBI visualisation tool and look to revolutionise the way they operate, interact and support colleagues across UHN.
So do you want to support the development and implementation of a new cloud-based data warehouse and PowerBI tools alongside the migration of data to a modern new EPR? Can you demonstrate an aptitude for defining and delivering a vision and strategy data and analytics whilst improving operational service and solving day to day challenges. **WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING**:
We are looking for someone who can develop and deliver an effective and efficient analysis and intelligence service (both clinical and operational) that provides reporting and decision support to all levels of UHN. The post holder must ensure that accurate and timely data and information is provided that can inform strategic and operational decision making at all levels. This will be achieved through the provision of a customer focused service that harnesses high quality information to drive quality and safety of healthcare delivery by providing targeted insight to support operational and strategic decision making.

The Head of Health Intelligence (post holder) is responsible for delivering the data, analysis and intelligence functions to support the UHN’s strategic aims and will be an integral part of the Digital Leadership team.
