**Company Overview**

Access Doors Ltd have been trading since 1973 and specialise in the security and utility sectors. As a niche door company, we offer a variety of access solutions from industrial through to commercial with a core staple of roller shutters and Automatic entrance doors.

We are currently looking for an experienced door engineer to join our highly valued team on a full-time permanent basis based in the East Midlands where we operate across the UK for our core clients.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, forward thinking and personable team member with the drive to hit the floor running in order to take full advantage of the opportunities available to them. This role is ideally suited to those with field experience who now wish to mix “on the tools” with ownership/management of the client’s experience from quotation to manufacture, supply and install of products.

You will be part of a team who all understand the importance of working together to ensure a high standard of work is delivered. You will be given support, training and the correct tools to carry out your role efficiently and effectively.

**Role and Responsibilities**:

- Installation, servicing and repairing of Commercial Doors ranging from Roller Shutters, Sectional Doors through to a range of Automatic Doors
- Small works lead for local projects
- The role will entail “on the tools” - site attendance, fault finding, estimating repair requirement, fault diagnosis and service calls along with advising customers of potential equipment faults
- Office based - Small works lead from surveys, quotations and project management of small works through to completion
- Working in the commercial and industrial sectors - Our customer base is varied, therefore you must be open to travelling for work
- Take responsibility for the overall quality of the work delivered on-site
- Ensure the company meets its obligations and adheres to guidelines and regulations laid down by the professional bodies they subscribe to

**Skills and Experience**:
**Essential**
- At least 2 years’ experience working within the commercial and industrial door sector as a lead fitter.
- Full UK driving licence or equivalent
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

**Preferred**
- Relevant cards/certificates - SPA Passport, CSCS, PASMA and IPAF qualifications would be an advantage although full training will be provided as required.
- Knowledge of gates and barriers would be advantageous but is not essential as the role focuses on roller shutters and automatic doors.
- Electrically and/or mechanically qualified would be an advantage
- ADSA BS EN16005
- DHF Level 2 in Industrial Doors

**Salary**: £28,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
