IT Analyst

**The Role** - The IT Analyst, provides direct support to end-users of the ABS Enterprise Computer Network. Receive direction and guidance from IMS Manager. The Analyst responds to, evaluates, and solves a variety of end-user hardware, network,and software problems.

**The Duties**
- Sets up and configures print servers and attached printers.
- Upgrades existing workstations by installing memory, larger hard disks, adding floppy drives, etc.
- Trains end-users on a one-to-one basis about the proper use of software and hardware as necessary.
- Draft written user instructions/manuals for PC hardware and software.
- Provides initial support to local area end users in multiple service locations.
- An understanding of and respect for the need to maintain standards across the entire ABS Enterprise Network. This means that this individual must constantly keep Houston IMS personnel and the IMS Manager aware of end-user and system operation needs.
