**DESCRIPTION**:
Eldon Housing Association is a well-established provider of supported housing for older people. Using this expertise and our vision to enhance lives by bringing people and communities together, we also provide facilities management and catering servicesto a number of large care homes in the Croydon area.

We are looking for a Head Domestic to work as part of the Facilities Management team to maintain high levels of cleanliness and hygiene in the Residential Care Home.

**Key Responsibilities**:
As Head Domestic you will be responsible for providing cleaning and laundry services as well as overall responsibility for the supervision of the day to day domestic and laundry services at the scheme through the line management of a small team of domestics.You will report directly to the Operations Manager.

**Key Skills and Experience**:
You will have proven similar experience, ideally within a contract cleaning environment, although it is not essential for this to be within a care home.You will have previously worked at a team leader of supervisory level or be wanting to take the nextstep in management.You must have a hands-on approach with a keen attention to detail and be able to work in a methodical and organised manner, whilst also being able to respond effectively to change or emergencies.

As this role will be based within a care home it is essential that you are respectful and sensitive to the residents needs and privacy and demonstrate a warm and caring attitude to the resident all times.
