**Job Role: Commercial Gas Engineer**

**Base: Rochester, Kent**

**Areas Covering: Kent, London & Essex / Hertfordshire - MUST BE WILLING TO TRAVEL**

**Salary: £48,000-£52,000pa DOE**

**Hours: 8am - 5pm Including Call Out Rota**

My Client works in the Mechanical and Electrical sector carrying out complete M&E project management, including but not limited to design, engineering, installation, coordination of services, detailed programming, quantity surveying and ongoing maintenance.

My Client is currently looking for an **experienced Commercial Engineer** with **specialist knowledge of**
**boilers/combustion and Gas Safe compliance** to join their existing team. You will be required to be a motivated engineer with a proactive approach and practical knowledge of general building services to provide service and repair works to ourclient portfolio.

This is a mobile role and requires the applicant to travel to various sites around **London **and the** South East** of England.

This role would suit an individual that can work using their own initiative and have a proactive approach to undertake all tasks required, a conscientious and reliable team player and someone who has excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

**Responsibilities**
- Extensive knowledge of Gas Safe compliance (IGEMS/British Standards)
- Extensive experience in Boiler/combustion servicing, fault identification and repair works across a variety of sectors including MET Police, the Private Sector & Schools
- Attendance to callouts during working hours and in addition, be part of the out-of-hours emergency call-out rota
- Utilising our job management system, by completing and submitting clear concise, accurate reports for works carried out, further work required and gas compliance certification
- Good communication to ensure regular communications with the FM helpdesk and Contract Manager on the relevant job progressions
- Calorifiers inspection/de-scaling
- Valve maintenance
- Legionella
- Training and technical assistance to other engineer

**Knowledge, Skills and Experience**
- A minimum of COCN1, ICPN1, CIGA1, CDGA1, TPCP1, CCN1, CENWAT
- Knowledge of a variety of Commercial/Domestic appliances and maintenance.
- Extensive experience in **commercial** fault finding and rectification.
- Good all-round knowledge of heating systems, fixed electrical systems & controls/BMS.
- DBS Preferred.
- CSCS Preferred. (Gold and above)
- Full UK driving licence.
- First aid trained
- PASMA and IPAF (preferred but not required)
