M&S Engineering are a secondary steelwork and architectural metalwork fabrication company based in Eastriggs and are looking for a new semi-skilled workshop operative to assist our tradesmen in the workshop. The position may also be required to work on site time to time, mainly around the Central Belt of Scotland.
We are seeking to employ a **Workshop Fabricator (Mild + Stainless Steel)** to work in our busy workshop environment.
**Experience Required**
- Proven background in fabrication and welding, preferably having served a recognised apprenticeship or equivalent qualifications.
- Must be able to read and interpret engineering and fabrication drawings and follow instructions.
- Self-motivated and able to work under mínimal supervision, to strict deadlines and be able to work over basic hours.
- Able to work as part of a team and provide support to other team members.
- Excellent timekeeping.
- This is an excellent opportunity to work within a successful organisation, Rates of pay are negotiable depending on experience.
A background in engineering and valid training cards would be advantageous.
Starting Pay from £15.00, negotiable depending on age and experience, overtime + 33%
Company Pension contribution + 30 Days Holiday per year.
