Nanny/housekeeper

Our clients are a professional couple based in Islington who are looking for a caring, reliable nanny/housekeeper to support them in their busy lives.
Their 4yr old daughter is at school so they are looking for someone who can help with drop offs and pick-ups, prepare her teatime meal and do some simple food preparation.
The rest of the time would be spent on housekeeping tasks to keep the household ticking over; laundry, cleaning, hoovering and ad hoc errands such as nipping to the post office or dropping off dry cleaning. The family do have a cleaner already who will take care of the bulk of the housework.
The role would suit someone who lives locally, is looking for a varied role with a good level of flexibility and has some prior experience either in a similar position or perhaps in a childcare setting.

Hours/Days:
The key hours are Mon-Fri 8am-9:30am & 5-7pm to cover the school runs
The remaining hours can be made up flexibly throughout the week

Duties/Responsibilities:

- School drop offs and pick ups - the school is a 15min bus journey away so no need to be a driver
- Preparing meals/snacks for the 4yr old
- Simple food preparation eg. chopping veg
- Cleaning & Tidying
- Ironing
- Hoovering
- Ad hoc errands
- Evening babysitting (a plus but not essential)

**Requirements**:

- Prior experience caring for similar aged children
- Excellent, checkable references
- Enhanced DBS
- First Aid certificate
- Reliable & conscientious
- Kind & supportive
- Ability to speak French would be a bonus

**Salary**: Up to £31,500.00 per year
