Warehouse Assistant

We are currently seeking a Warehouse Assistant to join a well-established, family-run SME based in Great Yarmouth. The primary role of the Warehouse Assistant includes the receiving and processing of incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders and managing, organising and retrieving stock in the warehouse.

Key duties and responsibilities...
- To store goods in a tidy and well-organized manner
- To check goods prior to dispatch for any damage or faults
- To make up orders from pick lists and prepare for dispatch
- To ensure that all goods are well protected with adequate packaging
- Assist drivers to load vehicles in a careful manner, to avoid damage in transit
- To ensure the warehouse is maintained in a safe, clean, and tidy manner

**Requirements**:

- High standards of safety, punctuality, and careful handling of goods
- Detailed and organised
- Possess a Forklift license
- Be able to communicate effectively with all operations team members and delivery drivers
- Have a positive and professional attitude
- Be versatile to help with other operational tasks as required
- Be a willing team player but also be proactive and work on own initiative
- Dedicated, hardworking, reliable and motivated

**Hours**: 8am - 6pm (Monday
- Friday)
