Transport Planner

**We are currently looking for a Transport Planner, with 1-5 years’ experience in the industry, to join our expanding team.**

**The role provides an opportunity to be involved in a variety of diverse transport related projects, from small residential schemes to large mixed use developments.

**The duties will include the following**:

- Obtaining, analysing and interpreting traffic data.
- Reviewing development sites with regard to their accessibility by a range of transport modes.
- Preparation of Transport Assessments/Statements and Travel Plans.
- Undertaking junction capacity assessments using industry standard software such as Junctions 9, LinSig & TRICS.
- Undertaking site visits.
- Liaising with clients and other disciplines within the Project team.

**Key skills and experience**:

- A formal education in either Civil Engineering, Transport Planning or Geography.
- Good IT skills including Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication skills, to liaise with colleagues and clients.
- Ability to work within a team and also able work under own initiative.
- Excellent organisational skills and able to prioritise workload.
- Accuracy and good attention to detail.
