Gift Wrapper

An on your feet job where you will be gift wrapping on the spot for customers, whilst they wait, to a professional standard.

Our gift wrapping stations are generally pop-up stands that take place in shopping centres, corporate buildings and PR events. We require you to be able to wrap in front of the customer in a quick, neat and professional manner.

**Responsibilities**:

- Wrap gifts according to customer preferences and specifications
- Ensure all gifts are wrapped neatly and professionally
- Assist customers in selecting appropriate gift wrapping materials and accessories
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and addressing concerns
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Keep track of inventory and restock gift wrapping supplies as needed
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily gift wrapping targets

**Requirements**:

- Fluent in English with the ability to communicate effectively
- Strong organisational skills to manage multiple gift wrapping requests simultaneously
- Basic math skills for measuring and cutting wrapping paper accurately
- Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines and handle high volumes of gift wrapping requests
- Ability to upsell additional gift wrapping services or accessories to customers

As part of the interview process, you will be asked to join a zoom call or meet us in person to wrap 2 items - a circular item and a normal box. This will be timed whilst being observed.

**Job Types**: Temporary contract, Freelance, Zero hours contract
Contract length: 1 week

**Salary**: From £14.00 per hour

- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

**Experience**:

- customer service: 1 year (preferred)
- Professional Gift Wrapping: 1 year (preferred)

- 50% (preferred)
