**Stores Team Leader / Stock Controller**

DJ Assembly Ltd is a leading SME within the electronics field.

Based in York, the Company is a manufacturing partner to a wide range of industries and is in an exciting growth phase. To facilitate this growth and its future expansion plans, the Company is seeking a Team Leader to manage the Stores area of the business.

Enthusiasm, dynamism, and a flexible approach to working will be required.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Lead a team of 4-6 personnel allocating daily tasks
- Oversee material receipts and quality assurance checks are accurately completed
- Ensure all material kits are picked, allocated and prepared for production teams
- Oversee Stock Management, stock takes and cycle counts
- Promote continuous improvement and as part of the team proactively seek new & improved methods
- To lead, train and motivate a multi-skilled team to achieve individual and departmental development.
- Use of MRP/ERP and SFDC operating systems.
- Assist with the development of ‘Quality first’ focus throughout the Company.
- Manage customer deliveries using courier and haulier services
- Ensure maximum efficiency and work accuracy of stores department and personnel
- Assist with investigation of NCRs for root cause, corrective and preventative actions.
- Preparation of stock control data for analysis
- Promote and observe all Health & Safety requirements
- Complete any other reasonable tasks beneficial to the business
- Demonstrate a sound understanding of stock control principles
- Be capable of prioritising in a fast moving and changing environment.
- Solution orientated approach to resolve issues
- Be forthcoming with ideas and continuous improvement
- Possess a customer centric attitude
- Be professional in your manner
- Be understanding and flexible with the constant changes to customer demands
- Support the company ethos

**Benefits**:
