Clerical Proofreader

Employment Experts Ltd provide reports for the Court that helps to decide how much compensation an injured/disabled person, someone who has experienced historical abuse or a person who has a matrimonial breakdown, should be awarded in damages for lost earnings and career opportunity. Novo Therapy and Care Ltd is our sister business, providing case management and occupational therapy to injured clients.

You will provide valuable support to our growing team of experts, case managers and therapists.

**Duties**:

- Review and proofread written content for accuracy, grammar, punctuation, and spelling
- Ensure adherence to style guidelines and formatting standards
- Fact-check information and verify sources
- Collaborate with the report authors and other team members to ensure high-quality content
- Provide feedback and suggestions for improving clarity, coherence, and readability of written materials
- Edit and revise content to meet established deadlines
- Familiarity with different writing styles, such as technical writing, creative writing, copywriting, and proposal writing

**Requirements**:

- Strong attention to detail and excellent command of the English language
- Proficiency in word processing software (e.g., Microsoft Word)
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Prior experience in journalism or related field is preferred
- Excellent research skills to fact-check information accurately
