We are recruiting for a Group Treasurer to come and join us on a permanent basis in Hatfield (Hybrid). This role reports to the Group Finance Director and will be a valued member of our Finance Leadership Team.

This vacancy has three key elements:
**People** - Our People (internal & external) are at the heart of everything that we do. We require a true leader who has the ability to integrate, reconcile, and balance the demands of the moment with the needs of others. The team will be yours, to build for the future. There are currently four direct reports. You will partner closely with colleagues across Finance and the wider business, to actively lead, shape, and develop the team to take it to the next level and embed a culture of strong controls and continuous improvement.

**Strategy** - In addition to the operational aspects of the role, the Group Treasurer will play a key role in shaping the Group's financing strategy, including fundraising requirements - building on the success of the Group's recent £500m Senior Unsecured Notes offering in October 2021 and £1bn equity and convertible bond issuance in June 2020.

**About You**:

- Experience of leadership of a treasury function in a fast paced global environment
- Relevant financial qualifications and understanding of relevant regulatory environments
- In depth understanding of treasury management systems and processes, ideally gained in an engineering/technological industry
- Specific treasury certification
- Ability to translate strategy into clear plans and objectives, managing conflicting priorities and aligned with business wide requirements and stakeholders
- Continuous improvement skillset to drive effectiveness in process, data and reporting paired with the ability to establish improvement mindset in their teams
- Continuous learning mindset leveraging internal and external sources
- Ability to build insight and create a story around data linking financial and business information to influence strategic decisions
- Change leadership skills including setting clear vision and purpose for change and acting as a role model
- Ability to build trusted partnerships across senior leaders and the wider business, partnering them to build their strategy
- Negotiation skills to manage third party providers effectively
- Experience of building and developing a high performing highly engaged team providing coaching & mentoring to develop talent
