_**Positive OT & Case Management are recruiting for a Personal Support Worker in the Malton area.**_

- **Do you have**:_
- _**Personal or professional experience in interacting with adults with additional needs and disabilities.**_
- _**A strong desire and commitment in promoting independence and promoting choice for young adults with extra needs.**_
- _**Experience of working with adults who require personal care, safe moving and handling and can communicate effectively to ensure the client’s best interests are paramount.**_
- _**Must be proactive and be able to participate in activities alongside the client such as going to concerts, bowling, theatre, swimming etc.**_
- _**Be committed, punctual & reliable.**_
- _**Must be enthusiastic and approachable and a good team player.**_
- **If the answer is YES then we would be delighted to hear from you**_
- **We provide all the necessary training required to excel within your role, but we are equally happy for you to bring over any existing skills, knowledge and training.**_
- **Skills we look for **_
- _**full driving licence or willing to use public transport to reach clients location at various hours.**_
- _**Experience of working with clients with complex care needs**_
- _**Can commit to a variety of shift patterns.**_
- _**Attendance at supervision and training sessions/courses, as requested.**_
- _**Participate in regular clinical supervision sessions with the case manager.**_
- **Closing Date for job : 17th April 2024**_
- **Interviews will be held Week Commencing 22nd April so please ensure you can be flexible with your availability, should you be shortlisted.**_
- **The first 2 weeks of employment will be paid induction. **_

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: £13.00-£15.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- Weekend availability

**Education**:

- A-Level or equivalent (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Support Worker: 1 year (required)
- Personal Assistant: 1 year (required)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
