Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Academic Registrar is a member of the University Leadership Team, participates in the institutional management of the University and plays a leadership role that inspires staff and students; promotes learning and the enhancement of the University's stature and reputation; and exemplifies the University's culture and values.

Building on wider changes to the function, the new Academic Registrar will be tasked with the innovation and integration of the student experience, ensuring the successful delivery of the new student record system. In addition, they will be responsible for developing a culture of continuous improvement and ensuring the delivery of best practice academic regulations and quality management.
