**Food Poverty Coordinator - Voluntary Sector Infrastructure (VSI) Alliance**:

- Job description
The Food Poverty Co-ordinator will support the existing Food Poverty Forum and build on supporting community organisations (e.g., food banks, pantries and social supermarkets) in Calderdale to respond to the challenge of food poverty across the borough.
Through excellent partnership working with voluntary sector groups and the local council, you will provide support, information and co-ordination in a positive solution-focused way to assist those working on the front line with individuals experiencing food poverty.
- Would you like to be part of a committed team to ensure fair distribution of goods to enable households to live well?
- Do you possess strong communication skills?
- Are you empathetic but with tenacity to deal with challenging, multi-layered issues?
- Can you demonstrate a practical approach whilst understanding the larger political picture?
- Do you have an eye for detail?
- Can you evidence working in partnership?
This role is part of a wider voluntary and community sector infrastructure support service, working closely with, Public Health and Anti-Poverty teams of Calderdale Council
