**About us**

Head On In Kids Club is a non profit charitable organisation situated on the grounds of Inmans primary school. We cater for before and after school care of primary age children. We are also open all day during school holidays.

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Play Worker to join our team. As a Play Worker, you will be responsible for creating a safe and engaging environment for children to play and learn. Your role will involve supervising children, organizing activities, and ensuring their well-being during their time at our facility.

**Duties**:

- Supervise and interact with children during playtime
- Plan and organize age-appropriate activities and games
- Ensure the safety of all children by implementing proper safety protocols
- Assist with meal times and snack preparation
- Maintain a clean and organized play area
- Communicate effectively with parents and provide updates on their child's progress
- Collaborate with other staff members to create a positive and inclusive environment

**Skills**:

- Leadership skills to effectively guide and engage children in play activities
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
- Experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting
- Excellent communication skills to interact with children, parents, and colleagues
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities
- Familiarity with nursery rhymes, storytelling, and creative play

Pay: £11.44-£12.55 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
