**Software Support Engineer**

**Salary:
** circa £45-£65,000 (doe) + bonus + benefits

**Hybrid working pattern
**:
Where possible, we will seek to accommodate a blended approach to on-site and remote working; for this role, it would typically look like a fairly regular 3-4 day on-site presence.

**The opportunity
We are looking for a capable, driven and flexible Software Support Engineer to support multiple development teams in project management and software delivery.

**What we're looking for from you:
A process champion to assist our software development teams with planning, documentation, configuration and delivery:

- The confidence to work independently and with initiative to find solutions.
- Knowledge of Project Management principles.
- Experience of Software Engineering Lifecycle.

Activities include:

- Providing software input and configuration management Interface Models, supporting multiple programmes; directly collaborating with the System Architects.
- Supporting delivery of Integration work to external partners/customers.
- Support internal customer teams, such as Trials and lab custodians.

**What to expect
- This role supports a large range of projects and people simultaneously, a constantly evolving challenge; ideal if you never want to stand still.
- This role is for someone who likes to be aware of the big picture, as it constantly involves activities across the software lifecycle.
- This role is for someone who wants to work in software and enjoys multi-tasking.
