Maintenance Pipefitter

First Achieve’s Engineering Department are seeking an Pipefitter / Industrial Plumbing Engineer for a market leading company in the North side of Glasgow. This role will be assisting the safe & efficient day to day running of their facilities throughout the Manufacturing Plant.

This state-of-the-art facility has further plans of multi-million-pound investment. Already, they have on-site Gym facilities which you will have full access to & a key part of their growth strategy is Training & Developing their workforce.

**Skills Required:

- **
- Have successfully completed a recognised technical apprenticeship in pipefitting or plumbing
- Experience of working as part of a team in an engineering environment (e.g. installation, maintenance, repair)
- Demonstrate an understanding of safety systems and experience of Permit to Work systems (training on site specific safe systems will be provided)
- Familiar with procedures and practices related to working within industrial plant rooms.
- Demonstrate good problem-solving methodology to identify, correct and prevent system / equipment faults.
- Knowledge of Heating, ventilation systems; refrigeration; steam / hot water generation & distribution; pumped water systems.
