TRS Staffing are excited to announce the opportunity for ROV Pilots.
This is a contract role, on a long term project.
An ROV Pilot Technician is responsible for onshore and offshore Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) operations on a worldwide basis, setting up maintaining, piloting and operating a range of ROVs.

**The role**:
The ROV Pilot Technician will be responsible for operating and maintaining ROV systems offshore, ensuring that components are operational to conduct investigations, inspections and under-water interventions in accordance with the project deliverables and applicable regulations.

While offshore, depending on the nature of the project, you may be working closely with the team of Surveyors and Engineers to ensure all ROV equipment is working effectively and data is collected efficiently and accurately. You will communicate regularly with the team onboard the vessel and, when required, clients.

Key Skills
Assisting with the ROV launch and recovery operations
Piloting the ROV and operating manipulators in a range of subsea conditions
Fault finding and maintenance of ROV control and navigation systems
Carrying out electrical and mechanical umbilical terminations
Coordinating and collating dive records

Essential
Previous experience of working as an ROV Pilot Technician at offshore worksites
Comprehensive understanding of mobilisations, operations and fault finding of work-class and eyeball specification ROVs
Ability to work offshore for prolonged periods of time
