Support Services 1st Choice is a company based in Hawick, supplying home care services to a variety of different services users with diverse needs across the Scottish Borders. The Company is owned and managed by a team of nurses with many years of experiences in different areas, who are there to give you guidance and first-hand support where needed. **Job description**

We are looking to employ support workers with experience or interest in caring and supporting adults over the age of 18 years, to live in their own homes. The support we offer will be following each individuals services users care plan which may include personal care, practical tasks and social support. Some of the responsibilities includes;
- Supporting clients with personal care.
- Medication administration.
- Promoting independence of clients
- Assisting clients with nutritional support
- Social and safety check visits for clients

**Essential Criteria**
- Compassionate, dedicated, committed and a good team player.
- Excellent time keeping.
- Good communication skills.

**Desirable**
- 3-6 months caring experience or no experience as fully paid training will be done.
- Driving licence or be prepared to walk to appointments.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 30 per week

**Salary**: From £10.90 per hour
