Understanding and meeting the needs of our consumers is at the heart of laundry product development. This role will play an important part in growing the business further via creating alternative channel specific ways to tell & demonstrate stories for our advanced product technologies. Effective benefit demonstrations tell our consumers what to expect from our products and play an important part in the consumer purchasing choice.

You will work in a multi-disciplinary business environment, ensuring the delivery of high-quality technical insights and data to support our Global Innovation Portfolio. As the Knowledge
- based selling lead you will be expected to

shape the knowledge based selling agenda to convert our magnificent product strengths & technologies into impactful demos & stories to convince shoppers to buy, customers to believe in & support and internal teams to know our products better and help driving sales via getting post activity measurements in different ways.

**JOB PURPOSE**

You will join the claims workstream in Global Research & Development team and work closely with Global and Cluster formulation, regulatory, legal, marketing, CMI and CTI teams on storytelling of our products. Plan and lead workshops with internal & external partners including agencies, suppliers, experts, consumers, and cluster teams to create ideas for KBS execution. Build methodologies to measure the impact of developed assets to sales in collaboration with CD, marketing, and cluster teams. Lead the global KBS calendar and technical demonstration development work in the laboratory.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Understand and explain our technology benefits to internal & external stakeholders in cooperation with formulation teams.
- Working closely with Marketing to design and validate superior claims and KBS assets (product demonstrations) to drive growth through science and technology.
- Work with internal & external partners for channel-based KBS material development i.e universities, agencies & suppliers
- To develop claim support for the KBS material developed and ensure completion of approval process.
- To build the capability beyond the existing internal & external network via new links.
- To support digitalization: digitalize KBS process starting with digital briefing templates and fully utilization of KBS asset bank. Adaptation of new and exciting tools to our KBS programme such as AR &VR.
- To support Homecare Cleaner Future Programme via converting new clean future benefits into clear demonstrations for the understanding of internal & external stakeholders.
- To support our Product Superiority agenda: Bring our products advantages, consumer, and technical superiority areas forward with clear & attractive demonstrations.

KEY SKILLS
- Good organisation and time-management
- Ability to interpret complex data, from multiple sources, for concise, clear insights / conclusions and communication to a variety of audiences and channels.
- Creative and good in storytelling
- Strategic Thinking in order to build strong claim support plans
- Ability to work with in multi-functional teams both internal and external.
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA
- BSc or MSc (or equivalent) in Physical Sciences or Engineering (Textiles or Chemistry).

DESIRABLE CRITERIA
- Experience of FMCG or the detergents sector

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
- Occasional travel may be required
- The job includes both laboratory and office-based work (some of which may be agile)
