Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to make a difference to the lives of children with a Learning Disability?

The Child & Adolescent Learning Disability Service is seeking an enthusiastic Speech and Language Therapist to join our newly established multi-disciplinary team. We work with families of children with a Learning Disability who are presenting with behaviour that challenges, primarily using a Positive Behaviour Support framework.

All staff are expected to provide and participate in a supportive framework of supervision and the UHB's values based appraisals process.

In return, we are highly committed to staff education and development and you will have opportunities to be involved in research and service improvement.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced speech and language therapist to work with families of children and young people with a Learning Disability

The service provided will be tailored to each child and family's individual needs, abilities, expectations and attitudes.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.

This post is fixed term for 27 months due to - meet the needs of the service.
