We’re a small coffee shop in the heart of Brixton looking for an experienced barista with

excellent coffee-making skills and a cheerful personality. You will have a good working

attitude with lots of energy, excellent customer service skills, a team player who is not afraid

to get stuck in with all the tasks that happen in a coffee shop and above all be passionate

about making coffee is essential.

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, such as coffee, tea, and smoothies
- Take customer orders and provide exceptional customer service
- Operate coffee brewing equipment and other kitchen appliances
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Assist with food preparation as needed

**Skills**:

- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating change
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and beverage recipes
- Understanding of food safety procedures and regulations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent time management skills to ensure orders are prepared in a timely manner

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £10.50-£13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
