Assistant Herdsperson

We are looking to employ an Assistant Herdsperson to our family farm in Gloucestershire. We milk 240 cows through 4 Lely robots to supply milk for a Marks and Spencers contract. The farm covers 300 acres which are used for forage production. You will be responsible for key livestock tasks to assist the Herdsperson to maintain our high health and welfare standards, these include but are not limited to feeding, scraping, calf rearing, robot maintainance and bedding. We are looking for a positive person with an eye for detail, someone who has experience with dairy farms and a passion for cows. **Salary**: £26,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
