Welder/fabricator

Our client, a leading manufacturer and installer of fencing and gate systems is seeking a **Welder/Fabricator** to join their team, based in **Carrickfergus.**

The purpose of the role will be to produce bespoke, high quality perimeter protection solutions throughout the Island of Ireland.

**Pay Rate**: £13 Per Hour + Holiday Pay

**Working Hours**: Monday to Thursday 7:45am - 4:30pm. Friday 7:45am - 2pm

**Job Type**: Full Time, Ongoing

**Job Duties**:

- Fabrication of finished product
- Operation of site equipment, machinery and tools
- Quality control
- Manual handling
- Undertaking additional internal or external training to further your knowledge of welding fabrication

**Job Criteria**:

- Time served Fabricator and Welder with signed indentures of completion OR have an NVQ Level 3 in Fabrication/Welding or equivalent
- Experience and competence in the following: welding mild and heavy steel, fabricating finished products from technician drawings on time and to specified quality levels, marking out components for metal work, creating templates and jigs for metalwork
- Competent use of sawing, drilling, bending and cutting equipment
