Location: Shotton

**Salary**: £50,000 - £60,000 plus car and benefits
Acorn has an exciting opportunity for a motivated and established HR Manager to join our clients HR Function based at their site in Shotton.
Reporting to the Senior HR Business Partner, you will be responsible for leading and implementing the people plan for business/functional teams across our clients site.
The HR Manager role can be a challenging one, with two days never the same. If you are up for the challenge and are looking to put your own stamp on the role, then we want to hear from you.
As the primary HR contact for the relevant area the HR manager provides local management with coaching and advice to assess and design developments to the organisation based on the hub and people strategy through clear change management strategies
You will also develop the capability through the coaching of line managers to undertake their people responsibilities effectively and confidently, by becoming 'people leaders' and deliver key people processes.
As a key part of a management team, you'll support the Senior HR Business Partner in value creation by (but not be limited to)
- Develop a local people plan aligned to the HR strategy and implement using the relevant HR policies, processes and products for best value
- Drive improvement in organisational capability and add value to the local business through the delivery of key people metrics (KPIs)
- Assess root cause issues and define the improvements required
- Ensuring alignment of action with the HR People Strategy
- Support and delivery of employment cost challenges and support change programmes to deliver this
To be considered for the role, you will need to demonstrate the below experience and skills:

- Broad, extensive HR knowledge and Experience
- Experience of working with Trade Unions
- Chartered membership of appropriate Professional Body (MCIPD preferred)
- Project management / implementation experience, especially change programmes
- Understanding of the implementation and use of planning and continuous improvement processes
- Understanding of legal and regulatory framework
- Understanding of key business principles and frameworks (e.g. financial)
- Effective change management and organisational development skills
- Skilled at coaching managers
- Organisational and planning skills - ability to work to tight deadlines with the flexibility and ability to prioritise tasks for self and others
- Facilitation skills and techniques
- Able to analyse information and use to drive decision making
