Finance Apprentice

We are looking to offer a **Finance Apprentice** the opportunity to join our expanding **Finance team** based in **Castleford**.

Please see below hourly rates for the role based off age:
21 and over - £11.44 per hour

18 to 20 - £8.60 per hour

Under 18 - £6.40 per hour

**About the team**

M Group Services Plant and Fleet Solution support front-line operations by providing compliant, innovative and fit for purpose vehicles, plant and equipment. We currently operate a fleet of over 9000 trucks, vans and cars together with in the region of 25,000 items of general plant equipment.

As a Finance Apprentice you will be part of the Finance team which is responsible for preparing and producing the Financial information that is integral to running the Plant & Fleet division.

You’ll be working alongside qualified and highly experienced members of staff, many of whom would have started their careers as an Apprentice just like you. You will have a dedicated mentor assigned who will help you maximize your potential by sharing your knowledge

**As the Finance Apprentice, you’ll get the opportunity to**:

- Maintaining Finance spreadsheets containing large volumes of data
- Performing day to day finance transactions
- Monitoring specific balance sheet or P&L accounts and making recommendations on required transactions
- Running routine reports and downloads from finance systems
- Performing reconciliations of specific balance sheet accounts
- Other ad hoc tasks as required within Finance

- Be able to commute to the Castleford office and live within a 30 minute commute
- Keen to learn with an interest in development and progression
