**About us**

Vans North West Ltd are independently owned Light Commercial Vehicle dealers specialising in the sales, leasing, service and MOT for all makes of new, pre-registered and pre-owned Vans & Light Commercials.

We are looking for a Yard Man/Woman to join our busy dealership in St Helens. The duties of the role include:
Ensure the service department, workshop facilities and yard areas are kept clean and tidy to the standards required.
Carry out routine maintenance and minor repairs to workshop and equipment as instructed.
Treat all customers and their property in a caring manner, with integrity, politeness and providing an excellent level of service.
Ensure service vans are kept in a clean and tidy condition and to check road worthiness daily, and report damages.
Support Parts delivery/collection duties as required.

Carry out receiving inspections of new vehicles and checking for any damage/defects.

Refuelling of vehicles and ad-blue.

The successful Yardman/woman must:
Be prepared to work outside in all weathers.
Hold a UK car licence and ideally, an HGV Licence
Have the ability to prioritise duties and communicate effectively with customers and your fellow members of staff.

The hours of work are 8.00am-5.00pm Monday-Friday.
