BRIEF OVERVIEW
Leading company that provides services in all aspects of commercial electrical installations and property maintenance who have been in operation for more than two decades is urgently looking for a Construction Estimator to join their company and grow withinthe team.

**ABOUT OUR CLIENT
My client has been providing top-of-the-line commercial projects and fit-outs to the private and public sectors. Their client base is spread between government contractors and corporates with large warehouses and sites across the country.They are focussedon capturing the growth that is being driven by the trend to online retail and regulatory pressure to improve the energy efficiency of the UK?s existing commercial building stock.

**ABOUT THE ROLE
- Understand the project/program and its requirements provide pre tender overview for sign off
- Determine key variables for cost and other estimates.
- Gather first-hand information from sites, warehouses on site visits.
- Provide support and liaising for mechanical and electrical estimation.
- Conduct research to obtain data on labour costs, materials, production times etc.
- Work with the rest of the commercial team to grow and develop the current subcontractor database.
- Obtain and review offers and quotes by subcontractors for all tenders.
- Perform risk analysis prior to submission of any large value tenders.
- Create and submit estimate reports, tender submissions or bids.

**ABOUT THE CANDIDATE
- Proven experience as construction estimator or similar position minimum of 3 years? experience
- Familiarity with financial and project management principles
- In depth knowledge of methods and estimation formulas, practices.
- BEng/BSc/BA in engineering, construction science or relevant discipline preferred.
