About The Role
We have an exciting opportunity to lead the Dementia Adviser team in **Northumberland**and **North Tyneside.**
You will be a systems leader, influencing, networking and collaborating with our partner organisations.As a Local Services Manager you will provide leadership and management to the local services team, holding responsibility for the management and deliveryof specific contracts, while supporting the Area Manager to deliver Alzheimer's Society help and Hope Strategy.
You will lead the local delivery of services across a designated area, ensuring that those services are of high quality, person centred, safe and that people affected by dementia are at the heart of all service delivery. You will have direct line managementresponsibility for Dementia Advisors who provide support and guidance to people with dementia using a person-centred approach.
The Local Services Manager will report directly to the Area Manager and will be a member of the Northumberland, Tyne and Wear and Durham management team. There will be a requirement for travel across the designated area with expenses paid in accordance withour expenses policy. **About you**
As a Local Services Manager you will be someone who can demonstrate the ability to build and nurture relationships with stakeholders to ensure that the lived experience of people with dementia is shared widely so that it can influence decision making, servicequality and delivery, in line with our strategic priorities.We are looking for someone who has knowledge of key roles in the Health & Social Care sector and is confident in managing relationships within this sector, to ensure we are the go-to organisationfor all things dementia related.
You will have experience as a great people manager having led teams to deliver high performance outcomes and work collaboratively to provide an excellent service. We want someone who role models our values in all they do, who can work effectively with internalteams to achieve mutual outcomes. You should have experience of successfully managing change from start to end and will need to be highly organised and able to manage multiple competing priorities. You will be someone who can work well as part of a multi-disciplinaryteam.
To be successful in this job you will have a positive and proactive attitude to challenging situations and problem solving, using a collaborative and engaging approach with your team.
