Topographical Surveyor

**Salary**: Up to £50000 per annum, experience dependant.

**Location**: Hybrid and flexible working arrangements, based in our Northallerton or Otley offices. Some travel to other sites will be required.

**Contract**: Permanent, full-time, 40 hours per week. Monday - Friday

**This could be the role for you**

We are an award-winning building design consultancy and 2024 is looking to be our busiest year yet. With exciting new projects coming up with our Partner North Yorkshire Council and private sector clients, we are looking for a Topographical Surveyor to join us at Align Property Partners. You will play a vital part in supporting the Highways team as we continue to grow.

In this role, you will contribute to the planning of project work and resourcing of the infrastructure team. You will prepare technical drawing from data you collate from conducting surveys and complete health and safety checks and risk assessments associated with location surveys. With your expertise, you will support the wider team and provide technical support and regularly provide updates to senior stakeholders of any important and relevant service and design decisions.

To be successful in this position, you will have:

- ONC / HNC in Civil Engineering or equivalent and GCSE Qualifications in Math and English
- Experience of working in Highway Design
- Experience of undertaking detailed topographical surveys and presentation the results
- The ability to produce AutoCad drawings detailed survey results
- Working knowledge of relevant UK standards, adoptable standards and building regulations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
