We are expanding our Finance team, looking for a Trainee Credit Controller, to join our Finance team of three existing members to assist with credit control tasks on a temporary basis.
The Trainee Credit Controller will proactively contact customers to clear outstanding invoices, which includes using initiative to find alternative contact method sources. They will ensure notes are kept up to date and work organised daily to contact international customer in the correct time zones.
The role will suit someone who is organised and has good communication skills. Experience with Microsoft programmes including excel and outlook, and CRM knowledge is beneficial. Understanding how payments and refunds are processed, different currencies, and conversion calculations would also be beneficial but is not essential as this can be taught on the job. Experience in the media industry or credit control is not a requirement as full training will be provided.
The Finance Team at AI Global Media strive to hit cash collection targets business wide. Today, we have 14 unique brands, each of which has its own focus and target audience. All of our brands are B2B focused: we have titles aimed at the healthcare & pharmaceutical industry, the construction & property market, and luxury lifestyle to name just a few.
**Hours**: 37.5 per week - Monday-Thursday 8.30am-5.30pm (45 min lunch) and Friday 8.30am-1pm.
**Contract Type**: 6-month temporary contract.
**Location**:Burton on Trent, Staffordshire (Hybrid model 3 days office, 2 optional WFH)
**Salary**: £22,308 PA
